31st Degree Regalia Pack – Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (English Constitution)
Includes: Jewel, Eagle, Collarette & Collar
Honor the dignity and symbolism of the 31st Degree – Grand Inspector Inquisitor Commander with this complete and traditionally styled regalia set. Crafted according to the standards of the English Constitution of the Scottish Rite, this pack is ideal for brethren who have attained this high philosophical degree and who are ready to embody its solemn lessons and responsibilities.
🔹 Contents of the Pack:
1. Degree Jewel – Grand Inspector Inquisitor Commander
A beautifully detailed silver or gilt jewel, often formed as a compass opened on a quarter circle, resting upon a sword, all surmounted by the Scottish Rite double-headed eagle.
The jewel’s components represent justice, wisdom, balance, and authority—central virtues of the 31st Degree.
Suspended from a loop and hook for easy mounting on the collarette or collar.
Hand-polished metal finish with fine detailing and optional engraving on the reverse.
2. Double-Headed Eagle Emblem
An elegant metallic or embroidered representation of the 32-winged double-headed eagle, a key emblem of the Scottish Rite from the 31st Degree onward.
Typically shown crowned and holding a sword, symbolising dual vigilance, spiritual insight, and sovereign authority.
May be included as an ornamental device mounted on the collar or jewel depending on jurisdictional preferences.
Aged brass, silver or polished gold-tone finish available.
3. Collarette – Satin Neck Ribbon
Made of deep red (crimson or scarlet) satin—the colour traditionally associated with higher Inspector degrees in the Scottish Rite.
Worn around the neck, the collarette is tailored for comfort and formality, with a secure clip or hook fastening at the back.
Designed to hold the 31st Degree jewel centrally over the chest.
Reinforced stitching for ceremonial durability.
4. Collar – Wide Ceremonial Style
A broad ceremonial collar, matching the colour scheme of the collarette (usually crimson with gold or black edging), embroidered with appropriate motifs of the 31st Degree depending on lodge or Supreme Council jurisdiction.
May include motifs such as the Scales of Justice, sword and compasses, or Inquisitorial emblems reflecting the moral and judicial themes of the degree.
Lined for durability, with a rear clasp and jewel loop.
⚜️ Symbolism & Significance of the 31st Degree
The 31st Degree – Grand Inspector Inquisitor Commander is a profound and solemn step in the Scottish Rite journey, focusing on judgment, moral responsibility, and inner discipline. It challenges the Mason to examine not only the actions of others, but his own conduct, motivations, and integrity.
The regalia for this degree reflects:
The authority to examine and command, tempered by justice.
The two-headed eagle, looking East and West, symbolising watchfulness and balance.
The sword, representing strength and moral courage.
The compasses, denoting the ethical boundaries within which every Mason must live and lead.
📦 Presentation & Storage
