The French Rite “Traditional” Master Mason Set is a refined and harmonious ensemble, designed in accordance with the classical aesthetics and philosophical sobriety of the Rite Français. This complete set includes a round-edged apron and matching sash, crafted to reflect the dignity, balance, and symbolic depth of the Third Degree within the Traditional French system.

Master Mason Apron

The apron features the distinctive rounded lower edge, characteristic of the Traditional French Rite, giving it a graceful and elegant silhouette. This softer contour reflects the refined ceremonial style of the Rite while preserving its historical authenticity.

Manufactured to the finest quality standards, the apron measures 39 x 33 cm, providing correct proportions and a balanced presentation when worn in Lodge. The structure ensures it sits properly and maintains its form during ritual work.

An adjustable waist belt with snake closure ensures both comfort and symbolic meaning. The serpent, emblem of eternity and renewal, reflects the continuous moral and intellectual development expected of a Master Mason.

The apron includes a discreet rear pocket, practical for gloves or small ritual items, while maintaining a clean and dignified exterior.

The reverse can be ordered with either:

Black fabric back with funeral pattern, emphasising the contemplative and transformative themes of the Third Degree, or
Blue fabric back, offering a more classical and harmonious finish aligned with the Rite’s traditional colour symbolism.

Master Mason Sash

The matching sash completes the ensemble, designed to be worn diagonally across the body in accordance with French Rite tradition. With a breadth of 11 cm and a length of 90 cm, it offers ideal proportion and drape for ceremonial use.

Crafted from natural silk, the sash features a refined texture and subtle sheen, enhancing its dignified presence while ensuring durability and comfort.

As with the apron, the sash may be ordered with either:

Black fabric back with funeral pattern, reinforcing the symbolic depth of the Master Mason degree, or
Blue fabric back, maintaining visual harmony and classical French Rite aesthetics.

For the most accurate fit, we recommend measuring a well-fitting garment you already own and comparing it to the measurements below.

Important: For custom-made or fitted regalia, please provide actual body measurements in centimetres. For jackets, tunics, mantles, and leather garments, please also provide garment measurements where possible.

How to Measure

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest.
Shoulder to Shoulder: Measure across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
Sleeve Length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist.
Jacket/Tunic Length: Measure from the top of the shoulder down to the desired length.
Waist: Measure around the natural waistline.
Hip: Measure around the fullest part of the hips.
Inseam: Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the ankle.
